How is it calculated?

L/100 km = liters used / km travelled × 100. km/L = km travelled / liters used. Comparable fill levels improve practical accuracy.

Example

If 35 liters are used over 500 km, average consumption is 7.0 L/100 km.

WHAT CHANGES THE RESULT

Check these before using the estimate

Automotive estimates are highly sensitive to driving conditions. For consumption, tire sizing and charging, the vehicle manufacturer’s approved limits remain the final reference.

  • Real consumption, speed, traffic, load and weather
  • Vehicle and tire manufacturer approvals and geometry
  • Charging losses and usable battery window
  • Fuel, toll and energy prices changing over time
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why can this differ from the dashboard?+

Trip-computer estimation, tire circumference and fill-level differences can create variation.

Is one tank enough?+

A multi-tank average usually gives a more stable real-world number.
